Meet the team
David Emms - Director of Coaching
David has over 20 years experience in both coaching and developing Tennis programmes in Clubs and Schools across London. He specialises in coaching club level players, making their time on court both engaging and fun and has also developed an extensive group coaching programme to make tennis accessible to all. He has also coached junior county squads for Middlesex Tennis. Together with his team, David continues to develop and evolve the coaching programme at Eastcote Lawn Tennis Club and is proud to have been a huge influence on the club being crowned LTA South East Club of the Year 2019.
Elizabeth Norman - Coach
Elizabeth is an LTA Level 3 Coach with a BSc in Sports Performance and Coaching and an MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology. Her qualifications and experience coaching a range of ages and abilities, allows for the tailoring of sessions to the individual’s needs.
Along with combining the technical and tactical aspects of tennis into each session, as a qualified Personal Trainer, Elizabeth also has experience with fitness and footwork, which can be incorporated into sessions to provide an enhanced skill set for those looking to compete and for general fitness.
She enjoys developing and working with all players but is particularly passionate about encouraging girls within sports and strives to be a relatable role model promoting confidence and ability.
Elizabeth regularly competes for Eastcote’s Ladies 1st team, having captained the Ladies 1st team at University.
